Todson Introduces New, Improved OnGuard Locks at " Interbike"

Todson will unveil its new, improved line of OnGuard Locks, sold only in bike shops, at Interbike, the largest bike industry trade show, held in Las Vegas, October 6 through 8.

Wholesalers, distributors and retailers can take advantage of Todson's Interbike show special, receiving a 2.5% cash-in-hand rebate for OnGuard Lock orders placed at the Todson booth or at any affiliated distributor's booth at Interbike. Todson is also offering convenient spring terms: orders placed prior to December 15th will be shipped immediately, with payment due May 10, 2003.

Todson is developing flashy point-of-purchase and merchandising materials for retailers, to support sales in retail shops. An upcoming ad campaign will be run to increase awareness of the OnGuard brand, currently the best-selling lock in Europe.

"Retailers will find OnGuard locks a very attractive alternative to the Kryptonite or Masterlock brands," said Neal Todrys, President of Todson. "For an equivalent quality product, OnGuard offers well above traditional keystone margins -- greater than the conventional 50%. All OnGuard locks are guaranteed for life. On some models, Todson is offering an insurance program that will replace a stolen bike, under certain conditions.

OnGuard's vast arsenal features 32 different locks, including a wide array of U-locks, armored cables, standard cable locks, heavy-duty coil cables and covered chain/padlock units. Each lock category features both key-accessed lock models and 7-pin cylinder combination lock models. As an extra value feature, all key lock models come with five duplicate keys, not the stingy two or three keys offered by competitors. For customers, it's a $16 value at no additional cost.
