Live Oak Resort Hosts its Ninth Annual Bike Rally

Washington, TX September 8, 2004 -- Live Oak Resort's Annual Bike Rally hosts events throughout the day and night during this 3 day/2 night biker's fun-fest including a poker run with a $1,000 first prize, bike games, bike show and the famous Club Larry where sensual partiers can dance the night away while wearing (or shedding) their favorite erotic-wear. This year's entertainment includes Houston-based "The Posse," one of the area's most recognized and requested country bands. The Posse will be ripping it up on Live Oak's outdoor stage Friday and Saturday night.

"Live Oak Resort's annual bike rally was created for bike enthusiasts to relax and have fun in a safe, private environment where inhibitions can be shed along with their clothes, should they desire" said Larry Hilderbrand, Live Oak's owner and General Manager. "As a lifestyle-friendly, clothing-optional resort, we welcome guests from all walks of life, race, religion and professions. Our emphasis is on clothing-optional recreation of your choice in a natural environment with all the amenities you deserve, at a value unmatched in price or service."

About Live Oak Resort – From Nudism to Lifestyle-Friendly
In 2003, Live Oak Resort, a 27-year old nudist community, repositioned itself to a private, clothing-optional resort, where one can have fun with or without their clothes. As part of their repositioning, Live Oak openly accepts "lifestyle" couples to their membership. Live Oak Resort accepts fun-loving people of all recreational interests. It doesn't matter if one is a traditional nudist or a couple in the lifestyle wishing to explore their sexuality with new friends, Live Oak accepts you as you are. This controversial step by Live Oak was not favored by the current board of AANR (American Association for Nude Recreation), and Live Oak parted ways with them. Although many of their clubs' rosters include a good deal of lifestyle couples, there's a "gentlemen's agreement" among AANR clubs that the lifestyle is not to be promoted. Live Oak Resort's unprecedented move enabled it to become one of the only clothing-optional resorts in the U.S. making a profit, and continues to increase its membership with both traditional nudist and lifestyle couples.
