The Redline PL 26 is a new take on a classic BMX cruiser bike. Built to really be ridden, this bike features updated the geometry along with retro styling. A full chromoly steel Redline frame and fork are lightweight, but strong. Double wall rims with aluminum hubs give you a wheelset that can be ridden all day. The Redline PL 26 comes with a flip-flop hub in case you want to put a smaller rear cog on the bike. Hop on the PL 26 and explore the city, cruise the neighborhood, or hit the track for a few laps.

The PL 26 is a BMX cruiser. It’s large enough for mainstream uses such as commuting or off-road trails but it’s also got an edge to it that means it’ll do just fine on a BMX track. The Redline Recon is a freestyle BMX bike that is ready to hit the skate park, pump track, and trails. Micro gearing, big-box bars, Monster padded saddle, sealed mid-BB and rear cassette hub make this a greet choice for the intermediate rider.

The one-piece Monster padded saddle and seat post combination make this bike super light and Big Box tall rise handlebars assist with front-end lift off (making the bike easier to wheelie). The Recon also features higher end cranks and a smoother rolling, longer lasting fully sealed rear hub.

Maybe switch out the tires when you get a chance. They appear to be a little naff.  Overall the Redline Recon is another good value BMX bike. Offering a low cost upgrade to those who are riding entry models.

The Elite comprises of a Hi-Tensile steel frame (with a 20” top tube), a Cr-Mo fork, 50mm top-load Alloy stem and an 8.75” handlebar.  The brakes are rear cease U-brakes with alloy lever.  As for the crank, it’s 170mm of Cr-Mo with American ball bearings and 25 x 9T gearing.  The sealed bearing 14mm hub at the fear and its low-profile rims (06061) are surrounded by 20” x 2.5” street tires.   The tires have high-pressure casing, meaning you can use them on the dirt and in the street.  There is a micro-knurled surface with a directional tread as well as angular tread sections that are raised.

The re-enforced 6061 aluminum frame is impressive. It absorbs impact pretty well to deliver ultra-smooth riding experience. Plus, it’s lightweight and corrosion-resistant to last longer than steel. The wheels are textured and offer great traction to keep your kids upright and balanced. It comes with grinding pegs too.

This BMX bike is brilliant for practice and would make a good starter bike to the sport. It’s all of this that makes it a great entry level bike.
