More About The SAVA Warwinds 3.0 Road Bike

What a road bike! The SAVA Warwinds 3.0 road bike looks like something out of TRON. It’s grey and black design looks very futuristic. In terms of first impressions this bike ticks all the boxes.

The SAVA Warwinds 3.0 uses a high quality Japanese carbon fiber frame. This frame curves in several areas adding to the space age look of this bike. The frame is a combination of grey, black and silver with some branding on several areas. The bike weighs a cool 9.6kgs so it’s one of the lightest reviewed to date. With such a lightweight road bike you can be sure you’re not dragging extra weight with you when travelling up hills and guarantees a power efficient ride. The frame isn’t the only area of the bike that is made from carbon fiber, the fork and seat post are both carbon fiber and go to show that the bike was designed with minimum weight in mind. The dropped handlebars on the SAVA Warwinds 3.0 are made from aluminium and feature the Shimano Sora 3000 derailleur shifters linked to the Shimano Sora 18 speed derailleur gear system. This gives the rider full control over the gearing mechanism and offers smooth transitioning between gears. The SAVA Warwinds 3.0 road bike come with aluminium wheels with 40mm double walled rims. The bike does not come with pedals so you will need to source these from somewhere else. As this bike is designed for advanced users perhaps they take the position that the serious rider would not be happy with generic pedals. It’s difficult to say but well worth noting you’ll need to buy some, however don’t worry as they can be picked up for a small sum of money. The saddle provided is an ultra thin leather saddle, it’s comfortable to sit on and adjustable to allow the rider to find the best position for them. Overall the body of this bike is phenomenal and really goes to show what you can get in terms of materials used and quality components if you’re willing to part with the cash.

The brakes on the SAVA Warwinds 3.0 road bike are very responsive and offer the rider exactly what they need when engaged. The bike quickly comes to a halt due to the combination with high quality tyres on the bike. The brakes are V brakes which are a  side-pull version of cantilever brakes. As they are V brakes you’ll need to keep an eye on the brake pads to make sure they’re in good condition as you go but if configured correctly and aligned centrally they should last you a long time if you avoid excessively hard braking.

This bike comes with some really nice tyres. The SAVA Warwinds 3.0 creators decided to avoid the usual pattern of providing ‘good enough’ tyres and letting the owner upgrade if they wish and instead bring Michelin 700c x 25c Dynamic Sport tyres as standard with the SAVA Warwinds 3.0 road bike. The traction on these tyres is great, they’re designed to give good grip but avoid unnecessary drag, after all this is a lightweight racing road bike after all. They achieve this aim well and respond well to corners and braking without causing the rider to work harder on flats or hills.

The saddle on the SAVA Warwinds 3.0 road bike along with the dropped handlebars combine to give the rider a very comfortable position especially when both can be adjusted to suit the individual. Road bikes aren’t great for comfort due to the lack of suspension however with these quality sports tyres, saddle and handlebars they’ve given it a good go and somewhat achieved a good ride comfort, especially on flat smooth surfaces. The fluid gear changes also help avoid unnecessary jolts when shifting gears which in turn adds again to the riders overall experience on the bike.

This bike is a favourite here, it comes with 3 years warranty on the frame and 6 months warranty on the components and is available in blue, orange or red if you’re not so keen on the grey shown here. We think it’s a winner but what do you think?

More About The Tommaso Imola Road Bike

Complete with the Claris R2000 groupset which is a significant upgrade from the previous group sets that many competitors use. Rather than external cable routing which is less aesthetic and also risks damage, the Tommaso Imola Road Bike’s cabling goes inside the body of the handles.

Similarly, the crankset has been upgraded dramatically for superior shifting and greater all-around performance..

The Claris STI shifters in this bike mimic 105 and Tiagra components which are reserved for top-tier products that cost thousands of dollars. Shimano gear sets are an industry leader, giving optimum performance and precision shifting.

Compared to other road bikes the Imola has a shallow handlebar drop which allows you to ride in the lower handlebar position and still be comfortable. For intermediate and beginner riders who aren’t accustomed to other positions, this is vital.

Similarly, they’ve slightly widened the tires on this bike to 25mm, 700c road bike tires which are going to give you a more comfortable ride, greater efficiency and added control on sharp turns.

The frame itself is built using the highest quality aluminum and is backed by their industry-leading lifetime warranty because their bikes are affordable and made to last. Plus, all Shimano components are supported by their two-year guarantee, allowing you to ride with confidence.

For advanced riders who want to race with the Imola, it comes equipped with their exclusive UltraCompact handlebar which allows for higher comfortability in the drops. This position reduces your wind resistance, giving you a faster ride and letting you go further than before.

Overall, the Tommaso Imola is a standout in the road bike niche, delivering fantastic performance at an exceptional price. For beginners through to advanced riders the Imola is for everybody and will top tier components this is a bike that will grow with you as you improve.
